Hi. I'm Kennedi.
I'm a sixteen-year-old writer who happens to fancy indie music (especially that of Bastille, Of Monsters and Men, The Lighthouse And The Whaler, etc.), coffee, autumn, British television (such as Doctor Who and Sherlock), fantasy literature and films, and anything associated with Australia, Scotland, or pre-nineteenth-century England. I've also been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ and it is one of my greatest desires to live my life for Him and Him alone, living not in fear of the unknown elements of my future, but embracing the possibilities of what God has ordained for my life.
I dwell in a cozy farmhouse in the Midwest of the US (more specifically, Indiana) with my mother, father, younger sister, and our two dogs, Francie and Lucie. I also am the caretaker of six rabbits, and hopefully will also manage the livelihood of a Thoroughbred horse in the very near future.
As of now, I have no plans to go to college, but instead am hoping to pursue a life funded by my own freelance work as a novelist and lifestyle blogger. It is my hope to one day get married, move to either Melbourne, Australia, or Wellington, New Zealand, and raise a family.
