"I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers."
-L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables
I cannot think of a time outside of autumn where death is a miraculously beautiful sight. In an attempt to loose themselves of the years' growths, trees shed their leaves, golden and crimson and crisp, leaving the ground blanketed beneath nothing more than a layer of lovely death that comes around every year. Every autumn.
Autumn has always been my favourite season, and I do believe it will always remain so. Unlike most people I know, the gloom rarely brings me down; instead, it sends me headlong into a spiral of some sort of creative madness. It's my drug, the gloom, and the chill is my muse.
I do hope to make this the grandest October I've had in a while.
Stay rad. x
-Kennedi
